Welcome to my Page. This is Surafel Tereda. I've created this site to document my professional growth during my time at IUPUI. I'm currently a senior majoring in health services management. After graduating in May of 2021, I plan to pursue a career in a medical facility/health care setting specifically in Hospitals. Where I can make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Why Health Service Management?

This is a field where changes are made behind the scene. Doctors and Nurses are in direct contact with the patients daily life whereas health service managers are often interact with insurance agents, patients and medical staff to ensure care is delivered accurately and promptly.

I choose this major because I want to improve health delivery here in United States. This area of work allows me to see where we can improve our healthcare delivery system in a Hospital/Long term care/ which then improves patient outcomes.
